Modern Slavery & Human Trafficking Statement

Last updated: January 2026

This statement is made pursuant to the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 and reflects MondEnergy General Trading L.L.C’s (“Mond Energy”, “we”, “us”, “our”) commitment to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in our operations and supply chains.

Mond Energy recognises that modern slavery, forced labour, human trafficking, and related abuses are serious global issues and is committed to conducting business responsibly, ethically, and with respect for human rights.

1. Our Business

Mond Energy is an international trading company engaged in commodities and related services. We operate with counterparties, service providers, and partners across multiple jurisdictions.

While our business does not typically involve direct employment of large workforces or labour-intensive manufacturing, we acknowledge that risks may exist within global supply chains and associated services.

2. Our Commitment

Mond Energy is committed to:

  • acting with integrity and transparency;

  • respecting internationally recognised human rights; and

  • taking reasonable steps to identify and mitigate risks of modern slavery and human trafficking.

We do not knowingly engage with suppliers, partners, or counterparties that tolerate forced labour, child labour, or human trafficking.

3. Policies and Standards

Our approach is supported by internal and contractual expectations, including:

  • ethical business conduct standards;

  • compliance with applicable laws and regulations;

  • contractual provisions requiring lawful and ethical behaviour; and

  • the right to disengage from relationships where serious concerns arise.

4. Risk Assessment and Due Diligence

Given the nature of our business, modern slavery risks are generally considered low to moderate. Nevertheless, we take proportionate steps to assess and manage risk, which may include:

  • risk-based due diligence on counterparties and service providers;

  • consideration of jurisdictional and sector-specific risk factors; and

  • escalation and review of concerns where identified.

Where appropriate, we expect suppliers and partners to comply with applicable labour and human rights laws.

5. Training and Awareness

Mond Energy promotes awareness of ethical conduct and compliance within its business. Individuals involved in business development, compliance, or supplier engagement are expected to act in accordance with our values and applicable laws.

6. Reporting and Remediation

Concerns relating to modern slavery or human trafficking may be raised through appropriate business channels. Where credible concerns are identified, Mond Energy will take reasonable steps to investigate and, where necessary, disengage or take corrective action.

7. Ongoing Review

Mond Energy recognises that addressing modern slavery is an ongoing process. We will continue to review our practices and, where appropriate, enhance our approach in line with evolving standards and legal requirements.

8. Approval

This statement has been approved by the management of MondEnergy General Trading L.L.C and reflects the organisation’s commitment for the financial year ending 2026.
